We’re excited to announce a new location for Dallas Vegan Drinks May, Sundown at Granada. For those that haven’t been, Sundown is a new restaurant attached to on of the city’s best music venues, the Granada Theater.

Not only do they have a fantastic beer/cocktail menu, but the food menu boasts an extensive selection of vegan items such as the “Peaceful Indian Chole,” a Curried Coconut Chickpea dish, and the “Machu Picchu,” a satisfying dish with quinoa, black beans, and sweet potatoes.

Vegan Drinks is not only a way to meet fellow veg*an and veg-friendly folks for fun and conversation, it’s a great networking opportunity to hear the down-low about news and activities happening in the community (and there’s a lot going on these days!).

Each month we open the floor to the group for shout-outs and mentions for events, activities, and anything else going on in the community. It’s an excellent chance to reach out to a group of like-minded individuals who share the same passions as you.

Texas State Veggie Fair

I mentioned that the Texas State Veggie Fair isn’t quite right around the corner yet (it’s in October…), but we’re already getting ready for it. This is an entirely volunteer run event, and we need lots of people to help out. Check out the website to get more information and sign up.
